Daniel J Denk has directed ministry with university students in this country and in Eastern Europe, and he has ministered in more than 45 countries around the world. He also served as Theological Director with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. He is an ordained minister with the Presbyterian Church in America. Dan now lives in Grand Rapids where he mentors younger men and stays young himself with the help of his grandchildren.

  • Four years pastoring a community church near Omaha.
  • Four years teaching at a small Bible College, teaching Biblical studies, theology, apologetics, and even serving as dean of students for a while.
  • Thirty-five years total in student ministry with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship and the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students (IFES):
    • Seventeen years staff work and regional director for Great Lakes East,
    • Six years as IFES regional coordinator for nineteen countries in Eastern Europe. Then two years with IFES as Coordinator for Leadership Development, a global focus.  I have ministered and taught in 45 countries.
    • Cedar Campus Director, five years, for InterVarsity’s Training and Retreat Center.
    • Four years as InterVarsity Midwest Director, 10 states, part of the national leadership team.
    • Three years as Theological Director with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship.
  • Four years as part of the pastoral team at Christ Church PCA (while still full time with InterVarsity.
  • Officially retired, still volunteering with InterVarsity and Christ Church in Grand Rapids.

Exec Planning Resource Kit:  Author/compiler for the 75-page Resource Kit for the Leadership Teams of the InterVarsity student groups.
